Some Empathy For Empaths. My Personal Take On What An Empath Is.
They live among us and are us.
Welcome new and returning readers, and the bot accounts used to scan my content for seditious material.
Overthrowing the government is SO last decade, newbs. I'm here to decimate the archons’ food supply. Peace, love and light, you filthy animals.
I wear the label empath, placed by results of self observation, rather than choice/desire. Empathy can be defined as the intellectual identification of the thoughts, feelings, or state of another person. An empath is a person who feels these things directly, often called an emotional sponge. It can be very confusing to an untrained empath to determine the source of a feeling.
It can all feel internal, a feeling/ thought/ emotion/memory will come upon an empath like a sudden wave and rip the mind away from whatever it was doing. Then before the rational mind has a chance to attempt to look for a source, the subconscious has already brought up several experiences from the empath's life that are related, or of similar vibration. The mental waters can get muddy quickly and the empath can get caught up in the momentum, before one has a chance to ask, “is this my feeling or is the source external?”
Maybe this is just me. And I am missing several key factors to know for sure if it is “all in my head" or not, but there have been WAY too many times that I felt a sudden burst of emotion, thought it was me, but there was no clear reason or internal source for that emotion bubbling up. Then after taking a moment to observe my environment and/or talking with and/or listening to people near-by, I would find out there was someone near me experiencing a strong emotional response right then.
Metaphore helps me think about and describe this type of thing, so I will lean on that crutch here.
Each person has an antenna built-in. It can put out signal and receive. Most people do not notice the incoming signals, consciously, empaths do. To give an idea of what life can be like for an empath, pretend everyone's internal mental voice is a radio, transmitting thoughts/feelings/etc. The empath walks around picking up all these signals at the same time. Like everyone is playing a different radio station and the empath “hears” them all.
I say like because the caveats are plentiful and each person experiences and processes empathicness differently. There are 5 physical senses, 6 if we add emotion as a sense. 6 to the 6th power is 46,656. This is a rough estimate of the number of potential sense combinations that I can think of. Almost 50,000 different ways a mental transmission could be received and processed or interpreted. That is before taking into account the strength/volume of each sense, from both the sender and receiver, and before subdividing emotion into it's many different types.
Now maybe I have explained enough that you can sympathize/empathize why an empath likes relaxed, peaceful environments and has a tendancy to avoid crowds and very busy places.
As the previous math hints at, empaths come in many different flavors. I theorize that eveoryone has these abilities. But through conditioning, disbelief and atrophy from never using it, most don't notice these signals.
Just as I think everyone is born with empathic abilities, I think everyone is born psychic (the ability to send and/or receive information from outside our physical senses). I think most people that experience their psychic abilities, attribute it to intuition. The skeptical call it coincidence or placebo (or hogwash/nonsense/woowoo and other derogatory terms). Our natural psychic potential is purposely and systematically dampened through so many methods. A few examples include; flouride in the water(calcifies the pineal gland), toxins in our air(polution, chemtrails) and food(pesticides, gmo), and electromagnetic radiation from tv/ radio/ wifi/ cellphones/ microwaves/etc.
Before I try to wrap this up, I feel a strong desire to warn you of a powerful and dangerous type of empath. Powerful, because they transmit and receive these signals strongly. Dangerous, because when not fully in control of their emotional or mental states, they can effect/inflict others with what they are feeling just by proximity or mental attention, focused (even if those nearby are not sensitive to their latent empathic or psychic abilities).
I wrote this with the intent of sharing some of my life experiences, and to help people that may have experienced any of the above, to know, you are never alone. Others are out there, swimming in these under-acknowledged waters too.
If I could only give one tip, it would be to keep your thoughts focused on gratitude and love, or stated differently, keep your vibrations high to have “padding” to offset the low vibrational/negative energy.
A 2nd tip is, when in doubt about the source of an emotion, use this mantra-
“I will feel ONLY my own feelings.”
repeat as needed
I claim no expertise and frankly, I could use some help/training with this gift/curse. Or maybe just an AA group for empaths. “Hi, my name is Antila and I'm an emotion-oholic.”
“Hi Antila.”
“Its been over 9 years since my last private think.”
I perform the action of happiness in response to your continued readership.
